| Our system can be used at many locations around campus as well as hotel and convention centers in Lawrence, Topeka and Kansas City. The only technical requirement is a 100-BaseT Ethernet connection to the Internet. | |
| Equipment | |
| The basic setup for each site will include a camera, microphones and a video display. Optional content might include Microsoft PowerPoint documents presented on a client-supplied laptop or documents shown on a document camera. | |

| KU Media Productions can help schedule rooms in Lawrence as well as other sites in Kansas and around the world. | Cost | |
There is a $50 fee for pre-event testing to confirm that our equipment is compatible with distant sites. If we have successfully connected to a site, testing is not necessary. |

| H.323 Video Conferencing over the Internet | |
| H.323 video conferencing over the Internet cost of $105 per hour. This conferencing involves a video camera and microphone. H.323 People + Content KU Media Productions can also offer video plus additional content such as a document camera or your PowerPoint presentation can be supplied from your laptop into the video conference. H.323 People + Content cost $150 per hour. |

| H.320 Video Conferencing over ISDN | |
| H.320 video conferencing over ISDN has additional charges. ISDN charges include: $55 for setup, $50 per hour ISDN monitoring and $105 per hour for video conferencing. People + Content is not available over ISDN. The distant site will be required to initiate the ISDN call. Long distance ISDN telephone charges will be incurred by the distant site. | |
