KU Media Productions offers web-based-media for the KU community comprising of a range of delivery methods from streaming audio to streaming video with a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation synchronized to the video. These delivery methods can be designed for portable computers, MP3 players and phones. |

| Streaming Audio and Video | |
| Audio and video can be steamed both live or as a "file on demand", sometimes called a video on demand. These small files begin downloading directly to your users computer and begin playing while they are still downloading. If you are interested in developing a lecture series or a training series, the clips can be added to a Podcast. Podcasts allows end users to subscribe to your site and when new content is available it is automatically downloaded to their computer. | |
| Rich Media Presentations | |
Rich Media Presentations incorporate video and Microsoft PowerPoint Presentations allowing users to see the presenter and their content simultaneously. When the presenter advances their presentation, the slides advance for the end user so they don't miss any of the important points you wish for them to see. |

| Cost | |
Streaming audio or video has different costs based on how you plan your project. Live streaming is possible at $105 per hour. An audio or video project requiring editing will have additional costs. Rich Media Presentations allow us to edit the slide timing as the presentation unfolds. This allows us to reduce the editing costs for the project. The hourly cost for rich media presentations is $150. Additional time is necessary for packaging the final presentation and delivering it to the necessary servers for presentation.
